Otherwise known as the company that brought you Spybot Search and Destroy, one of the early anti-spyware programs. They also offer a few handy Windows utilities, like an improved regedit (Windows' Registry Editor).

2002 saw the first appearance of Spybot. Nearly 10 years later, Safer Networking is on the verge of releasing Spybot 2.0.

Spybot Search and Destroy is maintained by dedicated volunteers led with heart by creator Patrick M. Kolla, who up until a few years professed his love for a girl through an FAQ question on the site.
